Rekindling a passion for teaching, and helping others, as a result of Coronavirus, has helped a Lincoln business successfully adapt direction.
Yesway Ltd, based at the BG Futures business centre on Longdales rd in Lincoln, has been trading since 2016.
The business was established to provide local businesses with wireless communications services, such as factory radio communications, and event hire services.
Following the announcement of the lockdown, we knew we had to adapt, says director Craig Miles.
Luckily a solution was readily available, in the form of Craig’s teaching career experience.
Craig explained that he started out as a sixteen year old school leaver, and went on to achieve a science degree, and a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate of Education.
‘Ive been privileged to have worked both in the engineering industry, and also education, over the last 30 years’ , Craig commented.
Prior to setting up Yesway , Craig taught industrial automation & electrical systems to HNC industrial maintenance trainees at a college, including trainees from UK Border Force, NHS, and International marine industry and local industrial staff.
The business now additionally offers wireless IOT consultancy and training to both private and public sector clients.
