The Entel HT944 ATIS Marine handheld, for use when navigating inland waterways in mainland Europe.
On ATIS models, an FFSK data signal is sent at the end of each transmission, which carries information about the vessel, including a call sign unique to the craft allowing it to be tracked and monitored for safety purposes.
The HT944 ATIS models is in addition, ATEX-certified intrinsically safe radios, conforming to Ex gas groups IIA and IIC, respectively.
